Today was pi day. We had circle shaped treats and pie ... of course. We had a pi bee to see who could remember the most digits of pi. We had some pi based homework and some extra credit points. Also, some people wore pi shirts. On their shirts were at least 20 digits of pi and a funny saying.
Pi day is a highlight every year in Ms. Lucas's class. We always do something fun like shirts or our famous pi bee. The winner of the interesting pi bee happened to 'bee' 6th grade's own Sunny. He earned a homework pass and a pass for out-of-uniform. Also in second, Jadon Ward of 7th grade earned a homework pass. This year may have been the best pi day yet.
